I have been waiting for a while to get my programs so I can open my business full swing. It has been a very long and tedious wait. I have found myself these last few days pouting. With all of the tornadoes and destruction in the world right now, I find it highly ridiculous to be having a pity party over programs. So, last night I decided to pull myself by the scruff of my neck and make a different choice. I chose to focus on things more important.

In doing this, God gave me clarity and a blessing far better than programs! My son, began asking me questions about what happens when we die. Whether or not we come back to life, does everyone go to heaven...things like that. We discussed the fact that when we die, our physical bodies die but our souls will go to heaven if we believe in God, that Jesus is our Savior who died for our sins and rose again. He then asked, well, I believe in God, so I will go to heaven right? We kept talking and he then said he wanted to give his life to God and have Jesus live in his heart! We prayed and a little later I asked him if he felt any differently now that Jesus lives in his heart. He replied, "YES! I feel special!"

Yes, son, you are special! God's beautiful gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ, allows us to be special, and mercifully forgiven!!
