Ok. I admit it. I have neglected my blog. I haven't even logged in so long, it's like starting all over again. I have decided that since I have poured it all out here during all of the negative, stressful times, I should bring a little happy today.
A few wonderful things...
I have started school. I love it. It is challenging and I can't wait to be done and working.
My mom is visiting for a few weeks and then my daddy-o will come out for a weekend. Not just any weekend, mind you. The weekend that my daughter and my HUSBAND are being baptized! I know! I can't believe it. I am so proud of my daughter for making a decision to accept Christ and follow Him as her Savior. I am delighted that my husband is making this huge step for him. We still struggle and things have gotten better. By the grace of God, we will make it through to old age! Oh, and did I mention they are taking the kids back with them for TWO weeks?
Also, I found out today that one of my very dear friends is going to be in our hometown the same weekend we will be there to pick up the kiddos from my padres! I can't wait to see her again. I don't even want to make myself feel old and say just how long it has been, but I am excited! I can't wait to meet her man and for my man and kiddos to meet her! And I am not about to let her forget about the promised Jamaican food! haha
So, with all that excitement, I need my beauty rest!
