Bliss

A certain chocolate company is running a contest regarding "bliss". Supposedly they want you to tell them what it means to you. Unfortunately it's a four step quiz and their options weren't exactly what I had in mind. So, here is my idea of "bliss".
Bliss is a river of cold water that drops your body temperature upon submersion.
It's the way the wind carries your hair behind you as you run, while ribbons of vibrant green, silky threads tickle your legs.
It's snow flakes landing perfectly on your tongue, and the cup of hot chocolate to warm you up again.
A hug from a loved one that seems to magically refill your energy, love and strength in a single moment.
A friend who hears what you aren't saying, and is friend enough to bring it to attention.
A child's innocent smile that erupts in the most beautiful sound, laughter.
It's a pool of water perfectly still, awaiting your entry.
The perfect novel on a rainy day, or a collection of just the right music to play.
It's the quiet, after the lightning and before the thunder.
A child's mind, so innocent and full of wonder.
Mud that squishes through your toes,
a simple kiss upon your nose.
Bliss is all around,
In sights, smells and sound.
It's not something you see with your eyes,
though many do try.
Finding it is an art,
One must look through their heart.
