I always wonder what makes some people a "morning person". I, myself, am a "night owl". And everyone knows, owls only hoot when the moon is the brightest light in the sky. I could stay up until all hours cleaning, baking, playing, or reading. I would be fine sleeping until 11 and going about my business. However, this doesn't exactly work out for me. As a mom, I have a kiddo who has to be at school at 7am. Not get up and be out the door by then. Up, dressed, fed and AT school AT 7.
I wish I could get up around 5:30 and start my day while my little ones (and the big one) slept. I tried that. It isn't bad, most of the time. Problem was, no matter what I was doing, whether all I had done was grabbed my Bible and headed to the couch, a littlie (or the biggie) would wander out and start in with the usual questions: "What's for breakfast?" "Can I...Can you...why...how....when...." So, in my night owl brain, I figure, if they're going to be up, thrusting me into existence prior to my liking, why not sleep until they wake up?
I'll try being a "morning person" tomorrow. Wait. Tomorrow is Saturday. How about Monday. Yes. Monday, I will try and be a "morning person".
