Full of Praise

Yesterday ended with me doing what I do best. Going over the never ending list of things to do. In my head of course, while desperately trying to fall asleep. Once I went over the list of everything I had actually accomplished, I didn't feel so overwhelmed. I praised God for showing me the other side of things and gave Him the other list to look over for the night. Then, I thankfully fell asleep.
I awoke this morning to a sweet voice. "Mommy. Can we snuggle?" I love moments like these! I know it won't be long before I am asking my children when they are coming home. Needless to say, there were soon chilly little feet against my legs. My heart couldn't have been warmer.
Yes, the list was still there. But somehow, it just didn't seem so intimidating. After snuggling, we got up and ate breakfast, had a devotional, and praised God for being Him. One who always forgives us. Always loves us. Always protective. Never changing. Ever reliable. Ever trustworthy. Ever gracious. We gave Him our lists for today. As only God can, He has accomplished them! We have finished the majority of it all. Yes. Even the dreaded list is near completion.
Thank you, Father. Thank you for once again, proving to my children (and me) that with You, all things are possible!
