It was about 34 degrees this morning as I was driving down dark roads to the ever dreaded gym awaiting my turn for torture. Upon questioning my decision to go, and wondering why I was not relishing the comforts of my warm, cozy bed back home, lights were aglow in the park. A huge banner proclaiming the birth of Christ was evident. Then it hit me. I go because He allows me. He has blessed me with a body that responds to the requests of my brain, however infrequent these requests may be! Thank you, God! So I went with a new attitude and ran more miles than I ever have. He is ever faithful and ever true! He never gives up on us or doubts us. He knows the deepest desires of our hearts and equips us for every situation He lays before us. No plan of His will be hindered! No matter how dark a road may seem, He always provides the light!
So, may I march through out the rest of my day with the banner of the Lord held high, proclaiming His mighty love and the Light of the World for all to see!
