Today has been, well, today has been...
Have you ever sprayed yourself with a new perfume and decided it's the worst thing you've ever smelled before? I did that today. I couldn't get the smell out of my nose either. Then, we went to the library and there was a man pretending to read, while he people watched, (there were only 5 other people in there), and a man who could have taken a lesson in "library voice" from my 3 year old. Not much was accomplished there, as far as reading anyway.
My hubby was home from work by the time we got home from the library and we ate lunch and conned him into walking the park with us (4mile walk). I wore out the dog, the hubby and the kiddo! It was great!
I was also lucky enough to take my 10 year old shoe shopping! Yeah me! NOT! She is the PICKIEST girl I've ever known. I was always thrilled to have a new pair of shoes. Not her. She is going to make an awesome detective some day! She manages to find something wrong with every pair in the store! Not the right color, not the right width, not the right size, comfort, laces, tongue, the list goes on.
Needless to say we had a simple dinner and I am now going to bed. "I can't think about this today, I'll have to think about it tomorrow." lol
On a good note, it's bedtime and tomorrow is another day!
