Blah, blah, blah

Ok, so I am not feeling really "deep" or anything right now. Forgive the random blah, blah, blah that is about to spew from my fingertips.
Where do I begin? Praise would be a good place to start! My Grandad is doing better and my mom sounded wonderful when I talked to her earlier today. He's been sick and we weren't sure if he would make it or not. Hopefully he can recover from this and live the remainder of his life happily. He did re-dedicate his life to the Lord while on this rollercoaster! That is extremely exciting!
My parents are going to get to come out and visit this weekend! We are so excited. Of course that also means that my little brother is heading to Italy for about two years. Am I sad? Not really. It will be hard not seeing him for a while, but we were separated when he went to college and once he joined the Air Force. I know he will be back. It has been a dream of his for, well, forever and I am extremely happy that he is able to live it!
I bought a new pair of shoes today! That is always a praise! Shoes are amazing! I can't wait unitl I am working again and can (hopefully) build my shoe empire back up! We got my daughter a pair too, along with a cute skirt and top!
Oh! A funny story. I was in the car with my favorite ten year old little girl and we were jamming out to some tunes. A wonderful friend of mine sent me some music and I was so thrilled to hear some of the stuff I had long since forgotten. Well, my little princess decided to comment, "Wow mom. I can't believe you can remember all these songs from way back then."! Yeah! Children! Gotta love 'em!
I know! I warned you it was a bunch of random blah, blah, blah, but you kept on reading! ;)
I am off to bed. Ok that was a lie. I am going to go read while laying comfortably in bed.

  1. Haha!! Cute! Your stories about Bay always make me smile! Gotta love her brutal honesty. She calls it like she’s sees it. Wait till she hears some of the other stuff I am gonna burn for you!!

Cool…mama got some new kicks! Yay how fun. What do they look like? Do you remember going to Coronado back in the day and how much we were loving Bakers that shoe store?? I wonder if they are still around. Lol. Anytime you wanna build up that shoe repertoire make sure you take me along!!

And you are right…you did keep me reading.

Thanks for making my insomnia a little more bearable!!
